  1. Soap up your face well
  2. Add a handful of sugar to the foam.
  3. Massage this for a few minutes and rinse your face with warm water.
  4. If your skin shows certain stains, wash this off with lemon juice. Pay attention: too much lemon juice may lighten your skin!

How to make your own facial cleanser

1 tablespoon finely ground oatmeal
1 tablespoon finely ground orange peel (skin of an orange)
1 tablespoon ground almonds


  1. Mix the ingredients
  2. Put some on your palm and add water to create a paste
  3. Wash your face with this paste


  • Whenever you eat an orange, keep the peel and dry this in certain areas such as the central heating, windowsill, in the sun or lightly in the oven.
  • In order to ground ingredients, you can use an old coffee grinder or a mortar.

21 July 2013 Pimples treatment

An almond/oatmeal treatment is said to

  • Reduce pimples, blackheads/whiteheads formation.
  • Nourish your skin
  • Reduces acne marks


  • Almond powder (has nourishing properties)
  • Oatmeal powder (has cleansing properties)
  • Rosewater (good toner)


  • Soak 5-6 almonds overnight and grind the almonds(with or without skin) the next day in a food processor until you get fine paste in order to get the almond powder.
  • Later take 1 table spoon of almond powder and also 1 table spoon of oatmeal powder into small bowl.
  • Next, add required amount of rose water into it and mix them well until you get a paste.
  • Apply this on your face evenly and leave it for 15-20 minutes.
  • Wash face with cold water and wipe with a clean towel.

* Can be used 2-3 times a week
